Barry Danielian is a Trumpeter, Producer, and Arranger. He performed with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band as an "additional musician" during the Wrecking Ball and High Hopes tours. He also appeared on The Promise and High Hopes. Danielian is a member of the E Street Horns.
Barry Danielian attended the Berkeley College of Music from 1980-82, where he earned the 1982 Faculty Performance Award. He earned a B.A. in Jazz Performance from William Paterson University. In 1984, he was honored with the University of Notre Dame Collegiate Jazz Competition's Outstanding Jazz Soloist Award. Also in 1984, Danielian started touring with Dizzie Gillespie, Illinois Jacquet, Paquito DeRivera, and Branford Marsalls.
In 1985, Danielian started touring with Blood Sweat and Tears, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Queen Latifah, and Jon Bon Jovi. In the early 1990s, he toured with Latin pop star, Emmanuel, and was also music director. From 1995-98, he performed with Tower of Power. Since the mid-1990s, Danielian has performed on more than 200 recordings. In 2000-2001, he became the only unsigned artist to be nominated for the Oasis Smooth Jazz Awards.
Danielian now lives in Jersey City, New Jersey, where performs on Broadway and in clubs.
